FISM Rampone & Cazzani Milano flute is an old flute but in good and clean condition. There are no dents on this flute, however, there are scratches on the body here and there as you would expect on an instrument of its age. It is suitable for a beginner. It comes in a hard light brown case with an navy blue interior. One corner of the case is chipped (please see picture). Please note there is no cleaning rod.

This flute is an Italian made flute by a reputable maker. Some history of the maker from the internet: The Rampone family flourished as instrument makers in Milan from the 1850's and, in 1879, became the first Italian maker of Boehm flutes. In 1912 Egidio Rampone went into partnership with Battista Cazzani, soon marrying his daughter.  Following Cazzani's death in 1920, the firms merged into "Ditte riunite A. Rampone e. B. Cazzani e . C.".
