A good clean edition of the Celebrated Czardas by Monti for Violin and Piano.
Perhaps Vittorio Monti's most famous composition, this rhapsodical concert piece was written in 1904 and is based on Hungarian czardas.
The piece has seven different sections, each one of a different tempo and alternating between D minor, and D major. The Andante Largo, followed by an increase in speed to Allegro Vivo, slowing down for the. Molto Meno. The piece then slows further to Meno, Quasi Lento and suddenly picks up in pace and is at Allegro Vivace. It then slows down to Allegretto and finally to Molto Piu Vivo. These changes in tempo, combined with a range of dynamics make this piece exciting and interesting.
Both the piano part and violin score are in good, clean (possibly unused) condition. The score doesn't look as if it ever has a cover and all pages are loose-leaf (no signs of any staples torn off)
