Squire Slumber Song For Violin Piano Bosworth
Berceuse Entr'acte

The piano and violin part to Slumber Song by British composer and cellists WH Squire. Slumber Song was the third of Squire's entr'actes and was premiered at the Proms in 1899.

The quotation on the cover of this pieces reads:"The music was greatly appreciated and during the playing of the 'Slumber Song' composed by Mr. W.H.Squire the Princess Victoria sent up specially to inquire waht was the piece being given and expressed her admiration for it.

The music is well used, with the bottom of the violin rather jagged as the music is printed on both sides of a single sheet. Apart from that, this is a very usable antiquarian pieces of music. Copywrite date is 1899 - so this is possibly from the first printing.

This is a genuine, original print copy of the piece, not a modern "print on demand" copy!

Includes both the violin part and the piano score.

The book measures 10 inches x 13 1/2 inches so it it in Royal Mail's  most expensive postage category!
