This grenadilla wood clarinet dates from the early 1950s (serial no.167085), and was professionally restored in 2018. It is in good condition, and plays very nicely. All its features are original (apart from the new leather pads fitted as part of the restoration), including the case (labelled 'Heap's Music Shop Blackpool'), 925 mouthpiece, and Boosey and Hawkes ligature. There is some discolouration to the mouthpiece, and some slight tarnishing of the silver-plated key work, but the overall appearance of the instrument is sound and attractive.
