Audrey Douglas - Harp Teacher and Harpist

Audrey Douglas studied at the Royal College of Music. She has worked with all the major symphony orchestras including six years as principal Harpist with the B.B.C. and Ulster Orchestras. Audrey was first call harpist with Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Birmingham Opera and Longborough Opera. She now specialises as a Wedding Harpist and is recommended by many prestigious venues throughout the Midlands.

The harp is an extremely versatile instrument and she can provide music to suit all tastes from her extensive repertoire that is constantly updated with new popular songs and film themes. Audrey will always try to include particular requests.

The sound of the harp works particularly well in combination with the flute and Audrey can also be booked as Phoenix Flute & Harp Duo. Combining the harp with the voice is also a wonderful sound and Audrey performs with Marie-Louise Allard (mezzo-soprano) for Wedding Ceremonies and services.
