Fine old Jacobus Stainer violin , estimated age at around late 1800s / early 1900s. Nicely crafted instrument, with masterly carved scroll in shape of a lion's head. This beautiful violin shows no cracks or open seams, but naturally some marks in it´s old dark varnish.Comes with a case but no bow is included. Beautiful old Czeck quality instrument in immediate playing condition! Great loud, warm and mature sound.
