A lovely English violin made by Job Ardern (1826 - 1912) of Wilmslow, Cheshire. Label inside shows the makers name and that of W.E. Hill and Sons. The number on the end of the finger board is A 280
I have had this violin for about 25 years, it was my first full-size instrument. I now play guitar and the fiddle is waiting to be played and used again. I would love it to go to a new caring owner who would get enjoyment from its lovely tone.
I have two bows that are included in the price - one is basic the other is a good Bultitude copy but it will need re-hairing.
