The stencil on the clarinet says: F. Buisson, Sole Distributor, Dallas London.
I have owned the clarinet from new since the 1960’s.
The centre 2 sections are wooden and all of the clarinet is original including the case which is in a good condition given its age.
I have recently taken the clarinet to a repair shop (www.dawkes.co.uk Maidenhead) where they tested the clarinet and confirmed it had no cracks and was in good condition for its age. They played the clarinet and said it would benefit from the lower 2 pads being re-seated. They said it still all fitted together well and produced a lovely sound. It is in its original case.
For its age the clarinet is in a good condition and would most benefit from some playing before any decisions are taken about a conservative restoration.
I would prefer that any buyer picks the instrument up in person so they can sample the sound and quality.
