This is a high quality Violin and has a really good deep tone and clear resonant sound with new Dominant strings fitted. As we know strings are very much a personal choice but these Dominant strings will not be beaten at cost.
Two piece book matched back and all original polish.
Typically this will suit a player who has achieved a good standard of playing or has proved to have taken to the instrument and wants to progress their performance standard or develop their public playing.
The Violin was probably made in Germany at the end of 19th century or early 20th century and shipped to London for retail by John D Murdock & Co, Ltd. The Case is the original and in an excellent age related condition too. The bow is not the original and in fully functional condition and tensions well.
The Violin has been inspected, carefully cleaned and had a light cosmetic face lift.
It is all set up ready for immediate use.
The varnish is original and shows very little signs of age related use. No splits, cracks, loose joints. The pegs hold well and the sound post is firmly in place. Bridge and nut are set for a bias to a med/low set action.
Sorry no offers or Dealers please for the violin set. This Violin set is attractivly priced for a player who wants to progress upwards in skill or experience.
Thank you for viewing this Violin; if you have any question please let me know.
